Cruden Bay Golf Club is situated in the town of Cruden Bay, population 1,760. It is on the east coast of Scotland and approximately 23 miles north of Aberdeen. It was commissioned by the Great North of Scotland Railway following the expansion of the railways at the end of the 19th century, designed by Old Tom Morris of St. Andrews and opened in 1899.
